STAY-CATION SATURDAY

(or maybe you have a free hour or two during the workday)

Because it usually is here…the sun is shining! You’ve got a full day ahead, so here’s how to check out some of our local businesses from start to finish.

Breakfast: Start your day right with a Loma Fog Latte from Aspen Street Coffee and maybe even treat yourself to a pastry while you’re at it.

Shopping: Browse for your rodeo gear at Cowboy Mercantile, or pick up your new favorite summer T-shirt at Happy Trails Colorado. Who says you have to be a visitor to rep some Fruita swag?

Lunch: Continue your shopping adventure by heading to Fruita’s Farmer’s Market for some fresh produce, a cute craft and a lunch-on-the-go!

Evening: Did we mention a mini-road trip through Colorado National Monument? It’s a great way to escape and experience the cooler evening air.

Dinner: Spice it up with some delicious take-out from Karma Kitchen to fill your belly after a long day.

GRAB THE KIDS FOR FAMILY FUN DAY

It’s Summer! So step outside and find ways to soak up the sun (don’t forget the sunblock)

Breakfast: It’s a fun day! So grab a treat from Alpine Oven Pie Company. You deserve it!

Activity: Don’t let that sugar rush go to waste. Let kids go wild at Imondi Wake Zone’s Aqua Park or try wakeboarding. The perfect activity for the heat of the day!

Lunch: Parents can enjoy a beer or mimosa while kiddos have loads of kid-friendly lunch options to choose from at Camilla’s Kaffe. A win-win for the whole family.

Evening: If you haven’t yet, you have to visit the Dinosaur Journey Museum. Enjoy a break from the sun and spend some time learning with your family. Reservations are required.

Dinner: Refuel with lots of flavor at El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant
