Bio Bees 

For nature lovers and sustainability enthusiasts, Bio Bees is a must-visit. This hidden gem is dedicated to promoting making products that are good for the buyer and the environment. The owners have their own lavender field and harvest their own beeswax for candles, soaps, and bath salts. Their products are guaranteed to smell wonderful and make you feel even better.

The Vintage Common 

Step back in time to Vintage Common, a charming space that repurposes vintage and recycled materials. It is a treasure trove of antiques, collectibles, and artifacts. The store carries clothes, magnets, stickers, hats, vinyl records, and even plants! Customers always leave with inspiration and unique products.

Colorado River Wildlife Area in James M. Robb State Park 

Exit 37 off I-70 guides travelers to the captivating Colorado River Wildlife Area, a nature sanctuary that offers views and recreation. This day-use haven provides breathtaking views of the Colorado National Monument and the grandeur of the Book Cliffs, setting the stage for diverse outdoor activities like fishing, boating, birdwatching, and exploring the river trail on foot or by bike. Nature enthusiasts can revel in the rich tapestry of wildlife, while the proximity to the Kokopelli Trail adds an extra layer of adventure.

Rabbit Valley Trail Through Time 

Embark on a journey through Fruita’s geological history on the Rabbit Valley Trail Through Time in the McInnis Canyon Conservation Area. Managed by BLM, this trail takes hikers on a fascinating adventure, showcasing ancient rock formations, 140-million-year-old fossils, and remnants of the prehistoric past. Hikers can stop at kiosks along the trail to learn about the dinosaurs that used to roam there. The loop is 1.5 miles and is great for beginners. 

Little Salt Wash Park 

End your exploration at Fruita’s beloved Little Salt Wash Park! Along with community events and local sports, you will find trails and trees galore. Play with your dog, enjoy a leisurely stroll, or have a picnic under one of the many gazebos. The park is 18 acres, so get lost in its beauty and take the time to appreciate all the little things.
