With five lap lanes, a leisure pool, spa, drop slide, climbing wall, and a diving board, this center is a winter water wonderland. Families with little ones will appreciate the designated area for children six or younger. Visit the FCC website for hours of operation. 

But the fun doesn’t stop at the water’s edge, the FCC is an indoor hub of activity for all ages. From a library and gymnasium to a running track, fitness area, studio, and indoor playground, there’s something for everyone.  

Sunday: Explore Downtown Fruita  

After two days of artistic expression and adventures, it’s time to explore the warmth and charm of Downtown Fruita. The local shops are a cozy haven of unique finds. Visit stores like Rhema Music and Clothing and the Vintage Common to find clothes, trinkets, and more.  

Walking around, you will find other unique shops where you can find something to commemorate your trip. If you want to grab snacks for the road, head to Skips Farm to Market for locally sourced goodies. Take a leisurely stroll through the streets, indulging in some retail therapy and discovering hidden gems along the way. 

As your stomach starts to rumble, fear not – Fruita’s culinary scene is ready to tantalize your taste buds. Camilla’s Kaffe, Aspen Street Coffee, and Bestslope Coffee all have warm drinks, pastries, and hearty food you can enjoy. For longer sit down, consider Hot Tomato, Copper Club, Basecamp Provisions, Mike’s Famous Chicken, and Karma Kitchen – each offering a unique culinary adventure that reflects Fruita’s local flavor.
